Michael Reger, PhD, MPH, currently serves as an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Eck Insitute for Global Health at the University of Notre Dame. He earned his B.S. in Health Sciences from Purdue University, and his MPH and PhD in Epidemiology from Indiana University. His research focuses on exploring the link between understudied nutritional factors and the development of chronic diseases, including examining the interaction between smoking and saturated fat intake and the resulting increased risk of lung cancer, and the association between the intake of phytoestrogens and risk of several different cancer types.
