Dr Sophia D. Amenyah is a Registered Nutritionist and a Dunhill Medical Trust Research Fellow at the Faculty of Health and Social Science, Bournemouth University, UK. She is the lead researcher on the incLusivE coMmunity fOod model for health wellbeiNg and sociAl connectedness of olDer pEople (LEMONADE) project. Sophia is an interdisciplinary researcher with expertise in both biomedical and social sciences. Her research centres on co-production and the use of interdisciplinary methods to understand the biological and social determinants of nutrition and healthy ageing in underserved communities. Her key interests include personalised nutrition, nutrition assessment, community nutrition and public health nutrition policies. She has expertise in epigenetics, realist synthesis & evaluation, systematic reviews & meta-analysis, nutrition assessment and mixed methods research including Photovoice and participatory action research.
