This session will identify the gaps and limitations of current nutrition policy and monitoring tools for ethnic minorities and underrepresented groups in the US; explore the best practices and strategies for recruiting diverse and representative samples of participants for nutrition studies, and the benefits and challenges of doing so; and describe the current state of machine learning and artificial intelligence in nutrition research, and the challenges and opportunities for enhancing inclusion and diversity in this field.
