Kiu is a PhD candidate in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a research assistant for the International Weight Control Registry. She is also a registered dietitian with 10 years of clinical and research experience. Kiu received her Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition from the University of Tennessee Knoxville. Kiu’s research interests center on strategies to adopt and maintain diet and exercise behaviors for long-term weight loss and health promotion. Her dissertation project focuses on the role of behavior-based identity in maintenance of health behaviors and weight loss.
