Lisa Aschenberg is a graduate student at Texas Woman's University. Her focus in nutrition education, prevention and treatment of disease encompasses interest in education and treatment strategies, overweight and obesity and related diseases, inflammation, and management of age-related conditions. Her current research project focuses on the nutrient profile and bioactive compounds in walnuts and their ability to favorably impact feelings of satiety, weight management, lipid biomarkers, and cardiovascular function. Recent publications include the chapter contribution "Satiety Sensation and Its Associated Food Compositions and Flavors" in the newly published book "Flavor-Associated Applications in Health and Wellness Food Products."
