Postdoctoral Fellow
Seattle Children's Research Institute
Mariana Parenti is a postdoctoral researcher interested in the relationships between prenatal exposures (including nutrition and endocrine-disrupting chemicals), placental biology, and long-term mother-infant health outcomes. She earned her doctorate in Nutritional Biology from the University of California, Davis, studying prenatal exposures, maternal-placental-fetal metabolomics, and neurodevelopmental outcomes. As a postdoctoral fellow at Seattle Children's Research Institute, she is currently investigating the relationships between prenatal nutrition, placental gene expression, and spontaneous preterm birth.
