Dr. Lo is interested in how dietary patterns may associate with cardio-metabolic and mental health. His research projects have included prospective cohorts, behavioral interventions and meta-analyses. Findings from Dr. Lo's work have been translated into multiple publications in high-profile journals, such as Diabetes Care, Obesity Reviews, Science of Total Environment and Journal of the American Heart Association.
Dr. Lo has also been recognized among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, as Stanford University's ranking in 2023, and has received Top Reviewer Award from the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2020 and 2021.
