Dr. Mirko Marino currently works at the Department of Food, Environmental and Nutritional Sciences (DeFENS), University of Milan, where conducts research in nutrition, dietetics, food science, physiology, and cell biology. In particular, Dr. Marino is involved in the development of dietary protocols for the in vivo evaluation of the potential functional effects of sustainable foods and food models and the exploitation of in vitro approaches to study the potential biological mechanisms of dietary bioactives present in vegetable products.
