Zahid is a Nutrition and Public Health doctoral student at the Food and Development Research Center (CIAD). His research focuses on studying social determinants of health and community interventions for health promotion, especially of populations residing in marginalized areas. He has experience in evaluating food security, the dimensions of the food environment, geospatial measurements, and their relationship with health and nutritional status. He has also participated in community interventions to promote healthy eating habits and physical activity in vulnerable populations. He has also participated as a speaker at national and international conferences.
