Da-Yeon Lee is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. She earned her B.S. and M.S. in Food Science and Technology from Sejong University in Seoul, South Korea. She is interested in roles of functional foods on age-related diseases such as obesity and type 2 diabetes by investigating nutrients-gene interactions. She is also interested in the development of therapeutic potential ‘senolytics’ from functional foods to delay or prevent aging process.
