Alex Baldeon is a Ph.D. candidate in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his BS in Biology at Denison University before moving to Boston where he worked on various pre-clinical and clinical research projects at MIT & Harvard teaching hospitals. Advised by Dr. Hannah Holscher, his research focuses on the association between dietary patterns, the human gut microbiome, and metabolic health.
