Donya Shahamati is a master's student and graduate research assistant at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her primary focus is on the role of lifestyle in metabolic health and personalized nutrition. She earned her bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Her research explores how lifestyle-related factors influence metabolism. Currently, Donya is working on two significant projects: one examining metabolic response variability within and between individuals, which she will present at the conference, and another on the primary and secondary prevention of type 2 diabetes in Nevada. Previously, she conducted research on the relationship between dietary factors and neurological conditions, further contributing to her expertise in the field of nutrition.
