Dr. Bibiana Garcia-Jackson is a Sr. Nutrition Scientist with the Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition at General Mills, where she conducts research on dietary quality and nutrient intakes, as well as examining the relationship between specific foods and nutrients and health outcomes. She also leads the Bell Institute’s Personalized Nutrition strategy. Prior to her present role at General Mills, Dr. Garcia-Jackson was Director of Research and Development at Nutrigenomix Inc., a company that develops genetic tests for personalized nutrition. In addition to her work in industry, Dr. Garcia-Jackson is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Nutritional Sciences at the University of Toronto. She has given invited talks at scientific conferences, government agencies and research organizations worldwide.
