Kathryn Ayers is currently a PhD candidate at Florida International University in the dietetics and nutrition program. She earned a bachelors in science degree from Western Michigan University and her masters in nutrition and food science at Wayne State University. Kathryn has also been a registered dietitian for 10 years. She currently teaches a research and scholarly writing course for nursing students at West Coast University in Miami, FL. Kathryn looks forward to a career in research and academia.
