PHD Candidate
Centro de Investigación en Alimentación y Desarrollo (CIAD), Mexico
I am a Ph.D. candidate in health sciences, specializing in breast cancer epidemiology. Holding a Master's degree in Nutrition Sciences with a focus on Community Nutrition and Health, as well as a Master's degree in Public Health with an emphasis on Global Health, my research interests center on examining the relationship between lifestyle and health in children and women. Specifically, I am passionate about designing and evaluating multi-component intervention programs to enhance the well-being of at-risk populations.
I have actively participated in various projects, including nutritional intervention programs and food security assessments targeting malnourished children in Rwanda and Mexico. Currently, I am involved in a research project investigating the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lifestyles of women breast cancer survivors in Mexico and exploring the relationship between their physical and mental health and lifestyle changes due to the pandemic.
