University of California, Davis
I am a postdoctoral fellow with the Institute for Global Nutrition at the University of California, Davis, and working with Drs. Reina Engle-Stone and Jennifer Falbe. My research focuses on the prevalence and predictors of non-communicable disease among domestic and global populations, including relationships with diet and micronutrient status, and impacts of sugar-sweetened beverage policies on health outcomes. My current projects include Dr. Engle-Stone's Condiment Micronutrient Innovation Trial (CoMIT) in Ghana that is testing the effect of a multiple-micronutrient fortified bouillon cube on the nutrition status of women and children, and the development of a sugar-sweetened beverage US policy inventory with Dr. Jennifer Falbe. I am pursuing a career in research that helps inform nutrition policy.
