Ph.D. student
University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
I am a PhD student in Health & Kinesiology at UIUC in the Neurocognitive Health Behavior Lab.
The central theme of my research explores the intricate relationship between cardiovascular health (central hemodynamics and arterial stiffness) and cognitive function (behavioral and neuroelectric measures). My focus is on understanding how lifestyle behaviors, particularly physical activity, and nutrition, influence this relationship in healthy young and middle-aged adults without overt cardiometabolic disease. My dedication extends to leveraging machine learning (ML) models to advance precision brain health by investigating the interplay between lifestyle and vascular determinants of cognitive performance.
