Shivani Kachwaha is a third year PhD candidate in the Human Nutrition Program, Department of International Health, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She was previously a Research Analyst at the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute. Her research includes community randomized trials and implementation research on behavior change communication and systems-strengthening interventions to improve maternal and child nutrition in South Asia. She has also contributed to initiatives providing data analytic support to governments through generating and synthesizing data to inform nutrition policy. Her research interests are focussed on understanding dietary patterns and evaluating nutrition interventions to improve dietary intakes and infant feeding in low-middle income countries. Shivani holds a Masters in Development Studies from The Graduate Institute, Geneva.
