Dr. Anderson Berry is the Vice-Chair of Research and the division chief of neonatology in the department of pediatrics in the UNMC College of Medicine and the interim executive director of the Child Health Research Institute. She attended college at the University of Wyoming and medical school at Creighton University. There she found her passion for critical care and pediatrics and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the UNMC / Creighton Residency Program. She had her fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Utah and then came back to Omaha in 2004 to take a faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics. Since that time, she has been the medical director of the Nebraska Medicine NICU, Division Chief of Neonatology, and had the pleasure of teaching hundreds of medical students and residents. She received her PhD in Medical Nutrition through the MSIA program at UNMC and leads an active research group.
