Dr. Trude is Assistant Professor in the Nutrition Program at the NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development, Department of Nutrition and Food Studies. She is a nutrition interventionist with a strong background in population-based approaches to reduce disparities in health and nutrition. Her work examines the systemic roots of preventable chronic diseases with the objective of identifying and testing solutions for at-risk populations. Dr. Trude has worked over a decade to decrease disparities in healthy food access and food security through implementing and evaluating innovative interventions at multiple levels of the food system in the Northeast U.S.
