Jung Eun Lee, Sc.D. is a professor of Food and Nutrition at Seoul National University. Dr. Lee studied food and nutrition at Seoul National University and received a Master’s in Epidemiology and a Doctor of Science in Nutrition and Epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Dr. Lee was a research fellow at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School and an instructor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lee has focused her work on the role of diet in the prevention and survival of major chronic diseases, including breast and colorectal cancers. Dr. Lee is a PI of Korean breast cancer survivor research and Filipino women’s diet and health study (FiLWHEL). Dr. Lee is actively involved in dietary studies in the Asia Cohort Consortium, a collaborative effort to understand how lifestyle and environmental factors are associated with disease risk in Asia. Dr. Lee has published over 130 research papers and reviews and has written chapters in a few books, including Translational Breast Cancer Research and Betaine: Chemistry, Analysis, Function and Effects.
