Dr. Seyed Mohammad Mousavi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Nutrition at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. His primary research interests focus on the public health and clinical implications of carbohydrate quality and quantity in relation to chronic disease risk, particularly type 2 diabetes and breast cancer. He is currently investigating the impact of different sources and qualities of carbohydrates on the prevention of chronic diseases, utilizing traditional epidemiological analyses, genetics, and metabolomics.
