Brendan J. Kesler is a PhD candidate in human nutrition at The Rowett Institute at University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom. His PhD research explores the relationships between dietary fiber, fiber-bound polyphenols, and human health with a special focus on obesity. Prior to beginning his PhD, Brendan earned his Master of Science in Nutrition at the University of North Dakota and his thesis research explored the relationship between fruit form, fruit consumption frequency, and cardiovascular disease risk factors and markers. Brendan also holds a Master of Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Palm Beach Atlantic University.
