Jordan E. Rindels graduated in May 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in animal science from Iowa State University. She is currently a first-year graduate student in the Division of Nutritional Sciences at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her research focuses on understanding how dietary fiber can influence behavioral health by modulating the gut microbiome and its interactions with the immune and central nervous systems.
