Sarah Fruit is currently a Dietetic Intern at Ball State University and will graduate in December 2024 with her M.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics. She served as a Graduate Research Assistant within the Department of Nutrition and Health Sciences at Ball State, where she conducted clinical research in the areas of nutrition, obesity, and risk factors for cardiometabolic conditions. After completing her graduate degree, Sarah plans to become a Registered Dietitian, ideally working with professional or collegiate athletes. Throughout her studies, Sarah has received several awards, including the Indiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Outstanding Student in a Didactic Program Award, the Indiana Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Outstanding Dietetic Intern award, and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Frances A. Gallagher Scholarship.
