Undergraduate Student Researcher
University of Georgia
I am a 3rd-year undergraduate student majoring in Nutritional Sciences. My current focus is on premedical studies, driven by a passion for Nutritional Epidemiology and addressing racial and ethnic disparities. I anticipate graduating with a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Sciences in December 2025. I aim to be a catalyst for change, identifying global barriers to nutritional disparities. I also serve as an undergraduate researcher in the Child Diet and Health Disparities Research Lab in the University of Georgia's Nutritional Science Department. I was honored with the Center For Undergraduate Research Opportunities Summer Award for my work on the projects "Evidence to Support the Use of Parent-Child Joint Reports to Assess Dietary Intake of Elementary School Children:Data Extraction for a Scoping Review" and "Does Interview Type Affect Children's Dietary Recall Accuracy?: Differences by Meal Components ". In addition, I was awarded the American Society on Nutrition's "Undergraduate Diversity Research Fellowship" in 2023. After graduation, I aspire to pursue career opportunities that merge my interests in medicine and research.
