I am Lee Pei-Ching, a second-year master's student in the School of Nutrition and Health Sciences at Taipei Medical University. My current research, funded by the Taiwan Ministry of Science and Technology, focuses on the effects of Lycium barbarum polysaccharides and Bifidobacterium longum on dextran sulphate sodium-induced ulcerative colitis in a rat model. This year, I received the Excellence Award in the graduate student oral presentation competition at the Nutrition Society of Taiwan Academic Conference and won third prize for the Excellent Research Paper Award at the 2024 Teacher and Student Joint Academic Research Symposium at Taipei Medical University.
