Graduated Student
Centro de Investigación y Asistencia en Tecnología y Diseño del Estado de Jalisco A.C., Mexico
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Industries Engineering awarded by the National Technological Institute of Mexico. Since then, I have been actively involved in various research projects. My primary focus lies in bioactive components, particularly phenolic compounds found in food matrices such as blackberries, raspberries, and cocoa.
I have made significant contributions to an academic research project aimed at creating functional products from blackberries and raspberries. Furthermore, I have gained experience in the food industry, with approximately 3 years of experience in berry processing. During this time, my areas of expertise have been quality control, quality assurance, and microbiology.
I actively participated in establishing and operating a microbiological analysis laboratory, adhering to the ISO 17025 standards, and contributed to the review and enhancement of the quality system under the PRIMUS GFS standard.
Currently, I am enrolled in the Master's program in Biotechnological Innovation at the Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design of the State of Jalisco (CIATEJ), specifically in the Food Technology area. In this context, I am conducting an analysis of the bioactive composition of cocoa beans and their correlation with human health.
