Soyra Gune is a Research Analyst in the Nutrition, Diets, and Health Unit at the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and is based out of New Delhi office. She has supported work in South Asia on understanding and identifying mechanisms to improve the delivery of health and nutrition interventions in the first 1,000 days. Additionally, she has worked on case studies at the national and subnational level to determine factors resposinble behind undernutrition reductions in women and children. More recently, she has started supporting a project which assesses how to deliver sustainable and healthy diets to adolescents in Vietnam. She has extensive experience in working with both quantitative and qualitative methods. With IFPRI, she has worked on collaborations with international and national partners such as UNICEF, Campbell South Asia, IAVI, AIIMS, NiITI Ayog, and IRD. Prior to joining IFPRI, she completed her MSc in Economics (with distinction) from the University of Warwick where she was joinly awarded the Shiv Nath prize for best performance in development economics and completed her BA (with honors) in Economics from Azim Premji University.
