Zachary Gersten (he/him) is currently a Research Nutritionist/Postdoctoral Fellow at the Western Human Nutrition Research Center, USDA where he is working on tree-based approaches to measuring dietary diversity. Previous to the USDA, Zachary received his doctorate in Public Health from the University of Michigan and his MPH from Boston University. His research interests are biodiversity in food systems, fish and seafood, and teaching practices for public health and nutrition.
