Our research found that greater adherence to various healthy dietary patterns was associated with up to 2.8 years longer life expectancy at age 45 years. In addition, associations between dietary patterns and prolonged life expectancy did not vary across genetic susceptibility strata. These findings supported the improvement in life expectancy by adherence to multiple healthy dietary patterns, which can be tailored to align with individual preferences and cultural traditions.
