Rasheed Perry is a PhD candidate in Nutrition and Dietetics at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. He holds a Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Technology, College of Health Sciences in Kingston, Jamaica. Perry has extensive research experience, including roles as a Research Assistant for the Betty Irene Moore Food is Medicine Project at NYU and the Jamaica National Front of Package Labelling Project, as well as a Researcher for the Improving Household Nutrition Security and Public Health in CARICOM Project and the Impact of Covid-19 on Regional Food Security Project. His research focuses on public health, nutrition security, and food chemistry, contributing to numerous publications and presentations through meticulous data collection, analysis, and documentation.
