Cameron Cardona is a PhD candidate in Nutritional Sciences at Oklahoma State University. He graduated wtih his B.S. in Human Nutrition from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2021. His dissertation work is titled The role of iron regulatory proteins during ferroptosis and neuron differentiation. His current research has to do with how disease associated genetic mutations influence iron metabolism.
