Dr. Daniela Weber studied Nutritional Sciences at the Technical University of Munich, where she further specialized with a Master's degree in Nutrition and Biomedicine. She embarked on her research career focusing on nutrition and cancer, culminating in her dissertation within the Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions project "TRANSMIT" of the European Union. Currently, as a postdoctoral researcher in the Research Laboratory for Receptor Biochemistry and Tumor Metabolism at the Department of Pediatrics of the University Hospital of the Paracelsus Medical University Salzburg, Dr. Weber continues to advance her research. Her work is dedicated to exploring the role of the ketogenic diet in cancer therapy, investigating its impact on tumor progression, tumor metabolism, and the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Weber's contributions to the field aim to provide significant insights into the potential of dietary interventions in cancer treatment.
