I am a USDA-ARS Research Biologist within the Metabolism and Microbiome Research Unit at the Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center, where I am building a research program aimed to understand how maternal dietary and lifestyle factors during the prenatal period impact offspring health and development. Specifically, I am interested in linking maternal diets, heat stress, lipid metabolism, placenta function and the gut microbiome and how they impact fetal growth and offspring metabolic outcomes.
