Dr. Yun Chen is currently a postdoctoral associate at Yale University, dedicating to identifying modifiable factors such as diet, lifestyle, obesity, and environment toxins and new biomarkers in relation to liver diseases. Dr. Chen received her B.S. in Prevention Medicine from Fudan University in China and completed her Ph.D. in Epidemiology and Health Statistics at Fudan in 2023., focusing on metabolomics and type 2 diabetes. Following her Ph.D., she started her postdoctoral work in Dr. Xuehong Zhang’s group at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where she studies epidemiology and nutrition of liver diseases, primary prevention, and early detection of liver cancer. In March 2024, she joined Yale University, continuing her work with Dr. Zhang.
