University Park, Pennsylvania, United States
I am a postdoctoral researcher at Penn State University. Before joining Bisanz Lab in January 2022, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Food Science and Engineering from Zhejiang University in 2017 and PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University in 2021. My research interest focuses on the interaction between diet and gut microbes with expertise in both bioinformatic and laboratory analyses. Currently, I am investigating how caloric restriction affects microbiome and pathogen colonization resistance. I will be on the job market in the summer of 2025 and open to both industry and academic opportunities.
