Busayo holds a BS and a MS degree in Physiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University and the University of Ibadan,Nigeria, respectively. He is currently a doctoral student at the Kimlab(Nutrigenomics) in Exercise and Nutritional Sciences at Arizona State University.
Busayo has worked as a Lecturer at Lead City University, Nigeria, where he successfully supervised 11 undergraduate projects and dissertations. He has also conducted various studies in Nutraceutical-based interventions in neurodegenerative diseases as well as metabolism in rodents and Common African Toads. Busayo's current research interest is understanding how diet changes the epigenetic landscape, thereby regulating gene expression associated with regulation of body weight and energy metabolism in the hypothalamus. Busayo enjoys playing soccer, pickle ball during free time and spending quality time with his wife and sons.
