Ingrid is a registered and licensed dietitian and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She holds dual appointments in Medical Dietetics in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences in the College of Medicine and in the Department of Extension in the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences at The Ohio State University. She collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions and translate them into clinical and community settings. She works with national and international populations who are disproportionally affected by obesity and chronic diseases for the purpose of designing culturally appropriate interventions. In her interdisciplinary translational research lab, they examine the diet quality of children 0 to 5 years in low-income households and the factors influencing the feeding patterns of these children. She is an avid foodie and enjoys travelling. She hopes to attend all four tennis Grand Slams in the future.
