My ongoing research efforts relate to nutrient reference values and FBDG. I have been actively collaborating with esteemed senior scholars to review Taiwan’s DRIs for macro- and micronutrients. I am responsible for conducting comprehensive systematic reviews of literature and topics relevant to the DRIs, synthesizing and interpreting the findings from systematic reviews, and collaborating with senior scholars nationally and internationally to arrive at well-informed conclusions. It helps expand knowledge and cultivate novel insight into nutritional science. I particularly enjoy learning new skills through multi-disciplinary and trans-disciplinary collaboration.
I am currently immersed in the analysis of nutritional big data. My research involves developing data-driven algorithms to assess nutritional status using nationally representative data, such as the Nutrition and Health Survey in Taiwan (NAHSIT). Additionally, I am exploring key nutritional and dietary factors linked to health outcomes by employing data mining and machine learning techniques. Ultimately, this research predicts and promotes healthy and aging by identifying optimal dietary and nutritional practices to prevent diseases and impairments.
In conclusion, my plans involve continuing research on nutritional determinants of health and aging. Moreover, I am enthusiastic about exploring innovative approaches, including leveraging big data analysis and artificial intelligence, to address current knowledge gaps in nutrition and health.
